What some of our Guests have had to say about their Quail Hill experience:

Quail Hill was the first bed and breakfast that my boyfriend and I had stayed at and it was definitely a wonderful and memorable experience for us both. What attracted me most to making reservations with them was their affordable prices and the pictures of the beautiful natural surroundings. It was less expensive than Best Western and it looked so serene and refreshing up in the mountains. But when I got there it was even more than I was expecting. They had a beautiful garden and the rooms were immaculate. The hospitality was great and that breakfast made us feel so pampered. We want to go on a trip with our friends and plan on staying at Quail Hill again. What I liked most was when taking the short drive to Yosemite, I was passing all the brand name motels right along the road and I was thinking to myself, "We almost stayed at a motel and would have paid more money for a stay I would not even remember 2 days later". Quail Hill is a world away from the sterile, uniform and may I say mundane experience of staying at a hotel, where all rooms look alike and you feel like just another customer. At Quail Hill you feel like a welcomed guest and with the crisp mountain air, the hummingbirds, quails and other wildlife it feels so peaceful yet invigorating. Hey Rob and Al, I want to thank you once again for such a wonderful time and I'm sorry I wrote so much.

Every B&B is defined by its hosts and the environment they create for guests. The Quail Hill Bed and Breakfast is one of those B&B’s where the hosts, Rob and Al, really excel at making a visit special for guests. From your first greeting until the last goodbye, you will feel welcome and at home under their care. The breakfasts are delightful, prepared and served as well as any gourmet could hope for. A few feet away, butterflies dine on nectar from the flower garden. Evenings on the deck under the stars encourages relaxed conversation. The location is in the foothills at Yosemite National Park, about 30 miles from the south entrance. If you stay outside Yosemite, this is an ideal location, as it is away from the noise and lights of the city. Summer daytime temperatures are very warm, but mornings and evenings are wonderfully cool. Quail Hill is just a bit more than a three-hour drive from the San Francisco airport, so is much faster to reach than locations in Yosemite.

Thank you so much for making our homeymoon night just perfect. We loved the room, the food and the ambience.

We enjoyed our stay! It was peaceful and relaxing. Peddlers market fun; Yosemite awesome! Breakfast was 5-star!

We really loved the extras - flowers in the room, "room service", flip flops, "the kids" and of course the hot tub. Kudos for everything.

We have loved our stay so much so we are sad to leave.

The area has been so beautifully complimented by our stay here. Al and Rob are the best hosts you would ever have. To have come as guests and leave as friends says it all.

I loved staying at Quail hill because of the nice food in the mornings, comfortable rooms, nice pool and Al and Rob were very friendly. I really like their animals: Buddy, Chico, Cecil and Tonto.

This has been my best Holiday ever, especially the pets.

This is a wonderful place! Rodney and I enjoyed our stay. There's nothing like this in San Francisco and the contrast has been theraputic.

Al is such a wonderful cook and, together, Al and Rob make wonderful hosts. Keep up the good work!
